Children and Youth Ministries
Children in Worship
Infants and children are warmly welcomed to either the 8:30 am or 10:30 am worship services.
At the 10:30 service, please feel free to make use of the children's space near the front of the church or grab a clipboard with some prepared craft items to use at your seat.
Move around as you need to, the worship space is for all ages!
Kids of all ages and accompanying adults are welcome to Messy Church: stories, crafts and a family-friendly meal on the last Sunday of each month from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in Gibson Hall.
To register for Messy Church, contact Pastor Lynn by text at 613-213-8458.
Joy of Music
At our Parish Centre (990 Sydenham Road), we are blessed to have a family-friendly space to run our programming. Outside, we have lots of space in our backyard to run and play games on the play structure and swing set!
Inside the parish centre, we have a lady chapel at the back of the worship space with comfortable chairs and space for mothers and those with infants and small children to go for some silence or privacy, if needed.
In the worship space, we have a children's area at the front corner of the church equipped with colouring books, crayons, markers, and sensory-weighted animals.
We are very fortunate to have our Gibson Hall, where we run most of our programming for the Children's Ministry, such as Messy Church and Joy of Music. In Gibson Hall we also have a small nursery which you can read about below.
Come visit us on Sunday morning to have a closer look at our spaces for families!
Nursery (on hold)
Nursery care is available for children under three. The nursery is a designated room with age-appropriate toys and books. If you'd like your infant or toddler to attend the nursery, please let the greeter know before you enter the sanctuary.
Teachers and others who work with vulnerable populations in the church are screened and trained through the diocesan Screening in Faith program, which includes a police record check.
