The Rev. Blair Peever

Canon Father Blair lives in Cataraqui Woods with his wife Kassy, their three children, Samantha, Matthew and Alora, a Chinchilla named Asker, and a tree frog named Lily. Originally from the Ottawa area, Blair received his BA in History and English from Carleton University. He then worked for several years in the Micrographics industry before training for the Ministry at Wycliffe College in Toronto where he received his Masters of Divinity in 2002. Blair was ordained to the Diaconate in May 2002 by the Rt. Rev. Peter Mason and became Deacon-in-Charge of the Parish of Kente. He was ordained to the Sacred Order of the Priesthood in Wellington on December 8, 2002 by the Rt. Rev. George Bruce and remained in the Parish of Kente until coming to Christ Church in January of 2007. Blair has a real passion for telling people about Jesus and the wonderful blessings that God wants to give each one of us. When not hanging around church Blair can be found spending time with his family, reading, hiking, canoeing, and camping.
