Our People

All our parishioners contribute to the life and work of the church. Many serve or have served in recognized roles, such as lay reader, Sunday School teacher, gardener, parish nurse, treasurer, or coffee hour host. 

Our Rector is 

The Reverend Canon Lynn Dillabough

Pastor Lynn has an Masters of Arts in Pastoral Studies and has worked as a psychotherapist and family therapist for 15 years prior to her ordination as a priest in 2010. She was parish priest for 17 congregations in the Diocese of Quebec, and later the Rector at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Brockville, Ontario. She joined us here at Christ Church Cataraqui in September of 2022 and is excited about the many ministries that are growing in our parish!

Our Music Director is Michael Fenn

Michael works at Christ Church Cataraqui as the Music and Choir Director, running a vibrant choir and children's music program at the parish. Michael has recently graduated from the music program at Queen's University and is a former music student of Anne Landon, Darrell Christie and Michael Capon. In the fall of 2023, Michael will return to Queen's University to complete his Bachelor of Education. In addition to his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education, Michael has also recently completed a Certificate in Parish Leadership and Administration remotely with Huron College at Western University. Starting in June 2023 he will be taking a course on "Pastoral Care to the Sick and Dying" with Father Matt Koovisk, also through Huron College at Western University.

Our People's Warden is Steve Hulse

Steve Hulse is a semi-retired small business operator who has been a member of Christ Church Cataraqui for 27 years.  On March 5th, 2023, Steve was elected as the People's Warden for the parish. His role is to represent all members of vestry in the administration of the church’s finances, facilities, and operations.  He shares these administrative responsibilities with the Rector’s Warden and the Incumbent. Together, they ensure the direction of the Vestry and the Synod are carried out locally.

Our Rector's Warden is Tom Epp

Tom is an experienced leader both in the Kingston community and Christ Church Cataraqui. At the Annual Vestry Meeting on March 5th, 2023, Tom was appointed by Pastor Lynn as the Rector's Warden. His role is to represent all members of vestry in the administration of the church’s finances, facilities, and operations. Together, the Incumbent and Churchwardens provide the core leadership for the parish.
