Community Outreach

Jesus calls us to love one another as He loves us and to reach out with compassion to the vulnerable and marginalized—both in our community and around the world. At Christ Church, we embrace this calling through active outreach and service. We are always open to new outreach initiatives and encourage our members to bring forward projects they feel passionate about.

Here are some of the ways we serve:

  • Supporting the Partners in Mission Food Bank – Every Sunday, we collect food donations to help those in need. We also organize fundraisers and encourage regular financial contributions through church offerings.

  • “Sock it to Me” Sunday – On the third Sunday of Advent, we collect socks for Socks Kingston, which distributes them to local organizations that assist the vulnerable.

  • Christmas Giving for Dawn House – Each Christmas, we purchase and donate gifts for the women at Dawn House, a transitional housing organization.

  • Youth Service Projects – Our youth group actively serves the community by assembling gift bags for those experiencing homelessness, participating in park clean-ups, and creating gifts for those who are housebound.

  • Supporting the Alongside Hope  – We contribute financially to this vital outreach throughout the year and encourage members to include it in their monthly pre-authorized giving. We also raise awareness annually on a Sunday and by sharing educational materials.

We are always looking for ways to extend Christ’s love through action. If you have an idea for an outreach project, we would love to hear from you!
