In addition to our regular services, we offer special services throughout the year, including Christmas Eve,
Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week, to celebrate and deepen our faith together.

We also hold a Book of Common Prayer Service of Holy Communion on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am, from September to June.
Children in Worship
Infants & children are welcome at our services.

At Christ Church Anglican, families can make use of the children's space near the front of the church or grab a clipboard with some prepared craft items to use at your seat.

Move around as you need to, the worship space is for all ages!

We also offer Godly Play: stories, crafts and a family-friendly meal on the fourth Sunday of each month, September through May, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Gibson Hall.
Kids of all ages and accompanying adults welcome!
To register for Godly Play, contact Pastor Lynn by text at 613-213-8458.

The Lady Chapel
You may also find it healing to have a time of quiet prayer in the Lady Chapel, either before or after the main worship service. In the Lady Chapel you will find a kneeling bench where you may pray and contemplate the body of Christ, by gazing upon both the stained glass window depicting Mary with the body of Jesus, and a monstrance which holds the reserved sacrament. You are welcome in this sacred space, anytime.

Who can take communion? In the Anglican Church of Canada, all baptized Christians—regardless of denomination—are welcome to receive communion. If you don’t wish to take communion, you’re still welcome to come up for a blessing. Just cross your arms over your chest, and the priest will offer a blessing with joy and warmth.
-
What should I wear?We believe God cares more about you being here than what you wear—and so do we! Come as you are and feel comfortable. On any given Sunday, you’ll see everything from business casual to shorts and a t-shirt. Whatever makes you feel at home, we’re happy to have you!
-
When should I arrive? Our service starts at 10 am, and we’ll be ready to welcome you with open arms from 9:30 am. If you happen to be running a little late, no worries! We’ll greet you quietly and help you find a seat.
-
How long is the service? Our service typically lasts between 45 minutes and one hour, with a beautiful blend of prayer, scripture, music, a reflection (homily), and the Holy Eucharist.
-
How can I follow along?Don’t worry—you won’t get lost! Everything you need to follow the service is provided to you when you arrive. If you’d like a physical copy, we also have service books and hymn books available at the back of the nave.
-
Are children welcome?Absolutely! Children and babies are more than welcome to stay with their parents during the service. We know little ones sometimes can’t sit still or stay quiet, and that’s just fine. We love hearing their joyful noises. You’ll find a fun children’s space near the front-right side of the nave, with a children’s table and activity packages for them to enjoy. If you need a quieter spot, we also have a peaceful space in the back of the Lady Chapel, perfect for some quiet time with your child if needed.
